Inscale believes that there is a relatively unexplored middle ground between inefficient conventional construction and high-cost green architecture. It is in this area that a real-world difference can be made.
Green architecture is a philosophy that applies design choices and building processes that result in an environmentally responsible and resource-efficient building throughout it’s life cycle. This includes the use of sustainable energy, conservation of energy, the safety and reuse of building materials, and siting a building with consideration for environmental impact.
Inscale’s co-founder, Jeff Zariczny, is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council.
“I’m a believer that architects should build and get their hands dirty. If you look it up, the word architect means master builder. Most architects don’t practice that way any more.” – Jeffrey S. Zariczny
