Challenge: Hospice of Warren County is expanding their services. They’ve purchased a 1950’s home with beautiful surroundings. The site consists of a creek, surrounded by a wooded area, and sits fairly deep into a large site on a quiet road. This project consists of renovating the home to accommodate three new bedroom / bathroom suites, living areas, and exterior spaces.
Solution: We had limited space to fit in the three new bedroom / bathroom suites. We modified two existing bedrooms and one study to create the new suites. Other existing spaces were improved to provide living areas, offices, and a kitchen. The inclusion of light, interior comfort, and safety were key elements in making this project a success. Hospice went above and beyond the standard to make these spaces comfortable for their patients. We partnered with Hospice’s interior designer for color, material, and furniture selection. For warm summer months, we replaced their existing deck with a new deck made of long-lasting composite material.
